Janu Al Marjan Island: Aman unveils Ras Al Khaimah’s new coastal gem
132-key hotel to feature wellness, nightlife, and vibrant social spaces
DUBAI – Aman Group has announced the launch of Janu Al Marjan Island, a new luxury destination in Ras Al Khaimah, bringing the brand’s soulful approach to hospitality to the northern emirate.
Set on the scenic Al Marjan Island, the project introduces a bold new blend of contemporary design and vibrant waterfront living. Designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects, the development will feature a 132-key hotel and a collection of branded residences, uniting wellness, design and community in one striking coastal address.
The opening marks the second Janu property in the UAE, following Janu Dubai, set to open in 2027, and continues Aman’s ambitious expansion across the region.

Janu’s debut property, Janu Tokyo, opened in 2024 and has since set the tone for the brand’s global growth, with upcoming destinations planned for Saudi Arabia and Turks and Caicos.
Wellness and design focus
At the heart of the resort lies the Janu Wellness Centre, a rejuvenating space designed for balance and restoration. It will include a yoga studio, state-of-the-art gym, banya, and hammam, creating a holistic retreat that embodies the brand’s focus on mindful living.
For culinary indulgence, the resort will offer two signature restaurants, a Mixology Bar, and a nightlife venue, complemented by a Beach Club, pool, and private stretch of beach. Each guestroom and suite has been designed to maximise sea views, capturing natural light and minimalist interiors that reflect serenity and sophistication.
Residences by the sea
Adjacent to the hotel, Janu Residences will offer an exclusive selection of one- to five-bedroom apartments and five standalone villas. Owners will enjoy full access to all resort amenities, including the wellness and social spaces, blending private comfort with community energy. The design of these residences mirrors the hotel’s architectural ethos – clean lines, open layouts and a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The property’s prime location allows direct access to the marina and private yacht mooring, offering convenient connections to Wynn Al Marjan Island, the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort opening in March 2027. With JW Marriott, Le Meridien, W Hotels, Nobu, and Ushuaia developments already underway, Al Marjan Island is rapidly shaping into one of the nation’s most compelling lifestyle hubs.
Expanding Ras Al Khaimah’s appeal
Just 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Janu Al Marjan Island positions Ras Al Khaimah as a growing luxury tourism hotspot. The project aligns with the emirate’s broader vision to enhance its hospitality landscape and attract international travellers seeking refined, design-led stays.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, described Ras Al Khaimah as “one of the Middle East’s most captivating destinations,” adding that Janu Al Marjan Island will “offer a vibrant setting where like-minded individuals can connect through shared experiences and embrace the brand’s spirited approach to contemporary, connected living.”
